Solo & Ensemble Registration

Registration for the Solo & Ensemble festival is due on or before January 13, 2026. Registrations that are not postmarked by the January 13, 2026 deadline will be canceled. If your registration is canceled you can re-register and pay a late fee.

Please choose one of the following options if you know your check will not be postmarked by January 13, 2026.

Non-Accumulating Late Fee Schedule:
Late Fee for registrations and checks postmarked January 14-27: $50
Late Fee for registration and checks postmarked January 28-February 3: $100
Late fee for registration and checks postmarked February 4-10: $150

Upon submitting your registration, you will immediately receive a confirmation and invoice by email. If you do not receive the confirmation/invoice after your submit your registration, please let Matthew Gardner (matthew.gardner.ava@gmail.com) know immediately.

• A check for registration fees for the original number of students registered must be postmarked by January 13, 2026.

• Checks should be mailed to Alabama Vocal Association, Attn: John Kincaid, 4921 Twin Pine Circle, Hoover, AL 35226.

• Only those that have registered and paid by the deadline will be scheduled. Schools are scheduled in the order that payments are received.

• Registrations that are not paid by the deadline will be canceled. If your registration is canceled you can re-register and pay a late fee.

• An ensemble must contain 2-16 singers.

• Accompanists must have original music.

• I must bring a completed State Ensemble Adjudication Form F4.2 , or State Vocal Solo Adjudication Form F4.3 , for each soloist and ensemble to the registration desk at State Solo & Ensemble Performance Assessment, and one original copy of each piece of music with measures numbered for the adjudicator. • I have read the Standing Rules for State Solo & Ensemble Performance Assessment and will abide by AVA policies.
