All-State Show Choir Festival: April 1-3, 2027 at Spain Park High School, Birmingham, AL

  • Students will receive an individual 5 minute time slot for singing, and each school will receive a ten minute time slot for dancing (per five students.)
  • Students will be expected to “check out” of their school class to complete this audition through Zoom.
  • Students will receive the cut to each song upon arrival to the audition. (Director will be sent the cut tracks the day of auditions and will be expected to facilitate the sound of both the singing and dance cuts.)
  • All judging sessions will be recorded and the panel of adjudicators will be asked to use the rubric provided to judge based on the recorded session.

ASSC Audition Registration

The All-State Show Choir audition registration and payment postmark deadline is December 1, 2026. Registrations will not be accepted after December 1. Payments postmarked after December 1 will be charged a late fee. Contact Executive Secretary John Kincaid (execsecava@gmail.com) with any questions.

2026-2027 Clinicians

Jennifer dice

Jennifer Dice is a graduate of Ball State University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in music education and master’s degree in educational administration and leadership. While at BSU, Jennifer was a four year member of Indiana’s Official Goodwill Ambassadors, the Ball State University Singers.

Mrs. Dice has been a choral director in Indianapolis for two decades and her groups have been named grand champions at numerous competitions both regionally and nationally. Her choirs have performed with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, country music star Eric Church, at the Walt Disney World Candlelight Processional and alongside Broadway star Alice Ripley at the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir’s Festival of Choirs.

Jennifer is also an avid runner having coached cross country for many years and running in multiple marathons, including two trips to the Boston Marathon. She is happily married to her husband, Troy and mother to her beautiful daughters Tessa and Maddox. 

Shane coe

Shane Coe is a freelance choreographer, adjudicator and clinician based in Indianapolis. He graduated from Teays Valley High School where he was apart of the award winning “Prominent Rendition.” Shane is a graduate of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Popular Culture and a minor in music. Shane also studied music education for four years while at BGSU. He currently choreographs for many show choirs across the country and has had the honor of choreographing for both Alabama and Arizona All State. Shane has also choreographed for collegiate operas, musicals, A Cappella groups and barbershop choruses. In his free time, Shane enjoys watching The office and reading.
